Dark clouds are gathering over The Arches, the stately mansion of brash, larger-than-life shoe millionaire, Titus Platt. His peevish son Malcolm is hard up for money after living large and his ex-fiancée arrives making matters worse for him. Then the notorious gentleman thief “The Black Fox” forcefully announces his intention to steal Platt’s precious golden Etruscan dagger. “The Black Fox” is on his way. All fear for their lives and some rather murky secrets of the past are revealed. Will the dagger be stolen? Will they all survive until dawn? Are they all who they claim to be?

Unfortunately, Bishop Herbert appoints the Rev Caroline Timberlake before the weekend can take place. But when Caroline goes away for the weekend George is determined that the Murder Mystery still goes ahead. Unfortunately the bishop decides to call and chaos ensues…..
In this gentle comedy Brenda runs a charity shop with the support of volunteers – slightly addled Prue and sight-impaired Denny. But there are changes in the charity and new CEO John Turk is keen on a new image with younger staff. Will Brenda and her faithful volunteers cope with the weird customers, a community service offender, the new boss and some farcical situations?
The local Theatrical Society are about to cast their next production and due to the credit crunch, Nick, their director, has to wrestle with some difficult choices in financing and casting the production. So he invites a few actors and some of the committee to a summer BBQ at his home to announce his decision. As the evening progresses, and the alcohol flows, Nick ends up promising a different show and the lead part to more than one actor! Meanwhile the party ends up in the wee small hours revealing a blackmail plot, a possible affair, an attempted suicide and a twist at the end that will surprise you all!
